About this Event
Pairings are hard and, in a way, entirely conceptual. You've heard "only white with fish", but a bright and chilled Gamay can be sipped delightfully with a medium-rare salmon. The wines we have right here in the U.S. are more complex and wide-ranging than ever, and that makes the pairing opportunities intoxicating and plentiful. To try and crest this growing hill, we'll hold a night of pairings- but not with food. When sipping our Beaujolais Rose, what song do you think of? Or the Côtes du Rhône—what authors' writing style does it remind you of? Have fun with it, get a sense for what each wine is to you- that's our simple and easy goal. Come ready for a bit of writing, debating, (ungraded) pop quizzing and, of course, sipping!
Your ticket includes 4-5 tastes of wine.
