About this Event
We are delighted to invite you to our Whole Society Resilience Conference on Tuesday 22nd September. The conference will bring together statutory services, communities, voluntary and faith sectors, utilities, businesses, and students to strengthen community-led resilience in the face of increasing hazards such as extreme weather, infrastructure disruption, and societal shocks.
Come along to learn about the current and future risks affecting Cornwall's communities and gain ideas about practical community resilience from local voices.
Registration on the day will start from 09:15, with the opening remarks beginning at 10:00.
Our conference will be held in the Pavilion Centre at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre in Wadebridge. As well as presentations, there will be interactive sessions to get involved in, stands from local organisations to explore, and opportunities to network throughout the day. Free refreshments and lunch will be provided.
A full agenda can be found at the bottom of this text.
We look forward to welcoming you to our conference!
Please note there is a lot of interest in attending the conference and we are keen for communities across Cornwall to partipicate, so please only book tickets for a maximum of 2 representatives from your organisation.
