Twisting the natural order of a local market, we want to create an environment for the queer community to not only find products that resonate with their identity but also make memories, chill out, meet new friends and connect with like minded people. 👯🩷
Come along to support small businesses and enjoy a fun filled day in an inclusive environment! Everyone is welcome at the wee gay market and we do everything to ensure the space is accessible for everyone. From a quiet hour at the beginning to allow a more comfortable shopping experience to free activities for those who maybe can’t shop with us right now but still want to take part in the event.
At the wee gay market we pride ourselves in hand selecting each vendor and carefully organising the day to maximise the experience for everyone. No event is ever going to be the same! 💅🏻🩷
When you come to the wee gay market you can expect free activities ran by a local charity who will also provide resources on their work and introduce you to their services. This will not only give an opportunity for our community to learn more about the charities doing amazing work but also gives a space to meet new like minded people, who knows maybe your next best friend (or lover) will be there? 🩷👯 For a better shopping experience, stalls are selected carefully to provide a wide range of products so no stall will ever be the same, wether that’s a different vibe or totally different range of products you will for sure be able to find something for yourself.🩷 The wee gay market will also host a wide range of beauty services provided by our local queer community to make you sparkle.✨
