Way of the Witch - Foundations of Witchcraft

Designed to give you the foundational knowledge and practical skills to work seamlessly within a group or help you develop your own meaningful and effective personal witchcraft practice.
Way of the Witch - Foundations of Witchcraft course, draws from several different witchcraft and folk-magick traditions.
During this course, there will be no homework to turn in, tho you will be expected to engage in certain tasks, such as a regular meditative practice, perform certain rituals and exercises, as well as keep a journal. As in life, you will get out precisely what you put in to this class. You are responsible for making sure that you perform all tasks to the best of your ability. There are no substitutes for experiential knowledge.

1. Beginning the Journey: History, folk lore, lineage
2. The Witches Temple: Grounding, centering meditation and visualisation
3. Powers of the Witch: Energy, sensing, generating with the elements
4. Defence Against the Dark Arts: Cleansing, banishing, protection and warding
5. Creating Ritual Space: Circle casting and creation
6. Ritual Skills: Full Moons, New Moons and High Holy Days
7. Weapons of the Witch: Ritual and common tools, the Altar
8. Divination: Tools, techniques and Psychic development
9. Otherworldly Beings: Deity, Ancestral Veneration, Familiar Spirits, Spirit allies and genius loci
10. Material Magica: Effective spell casting
11. Full Moon Ritual: Attend a Circle of Heka full moon ritual
12. Strange Brews: Making Oils, Incense and charm creation
13. Rites of Passage: Initiation, Dedication and other rituals

The lessons will be facilitated by Amaris. She has been practicing witchcraft for some 40+ years, since she was a teenager. First as a solitary and then as an Initiated Witch. Amaris is also the High Priestess of the Circle of Heka Coven, which has been active for over 18 years.
