Meet funders in Wandsworth, build partnerships, and explore collaborative funding opportunities. Together, we’re stronger!
About this Event

Monday 7 December 2026 | 1.30pm–4:30pm | Old Chapel, Royal Trinity Hospice, Clapham Common, SW4 0RN

Big funding opportunities. Stronger partnerships. Greater community impact.

What could we achieve if we stopped competing for funding and started working together?

Join Wandsworth Care Alliance for an afternoon bringing together local voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and major funders to explore funding opportunities, build meaningful partnerships and develop ideas for collaborative bids.

Hear directly from four funders about their funding opportunities and priorities:

  • The Wimbledon Foundation
  • Sir Walter St John's Educational Charity
  • Co-op Foundation
  • The National Lottery Community Fund

But this is about more than meeting funders. It's about turning connections into action.

We want to help local organisations move beyond competing for limited resources and instead combine their expertise, relationships and experience to develop stronger funding applications and deliver greater impact for the communities they serve.

Through a practical fundraising workshop, facilitated networking and an expression-of-interest process, we'll help organisations identify shared priorities, find potential partners and explore opportunities to develop joint funding bids with support from Wandsworth Care Alliance.

What to expect:
  • Meet four funders: Hear about funding programmes, priorities and opportunities directly from funder representatives.
  • Build collaborative partnerships: Connect with organisations that share your ambitions, identify complementary strengths and explore opportunities to work together.
  • Take the first step towards joint funding: Express your interest in collaborative funding opportunities and help Wandsworth Care Alliance identify potential partnerships and develop next steps.
  • Turn shared ambitions into action: Leave with new connections, fresh ideas and potential partners to help make your next project possible.

Whether you're a small community group, an established charity or a social enterprise, you don't need to arrive with a ready-made partnership or a fully developed bid. Bring your ideas, your expertise and an openness to collaboration.

Together, we can build stronger partnerships, make the most of funding opportunities and create lasting change across our communities.
