About this Event
Gratitude & Presence
Join us for our November Walk & Talk at JFK Promenade in Golden Gate Park, a welcoming community walk created to help you slow down, move your body, connect with others, and appreciate the moments around you.
As we enter the season of gratitude, this month’s theme, Gratitude & Presence, is a reminder that gratitude isn’t only about the big milestones in life. Sometimes, it’s found in the everyday moments, the people who show up for us, and the simple opportunity to pause and be present.
Life can get busy, and it’s easy to move from one responsibility to the next without taking a moment to appreciate how far we’ve come.
This walk is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself and the people around you.
What to Expect
- Scenic park walk: Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of JFK Promenade as we walk toward the solar arch along the Golden Mile and back, covering approximately 2 miles total.
- Movement & mindful walking: A comfortable-paced walk along mostly flat, paved pathways. All paces are welcome.
- Optional reflection prompts: Simple moments along the way to reflect on gratitude, presence, and what matters most in this season of life.
- Connection & community: Meet other women and invite your friends, family, partners, children, neighbors, and even your pets to walk alongside you.
- Come as you are: No pressure to perform, keep up, or have everything figured out. Just show up. We’ll walk from there.
Who’s This Walk For?
Walk & Talk was created with midlife women in mind, especially those navigating life’s transitions, changing responsibilities, and new seasons of growth.
But you don’t have to walk alone.
Bring your support team: your girlfriends, partners, children, family members, or anyone who could benefit from movement, connection, and a little time outdoors.
Whether this is your first walk or you’ve joined us before, you’re welcome here.
Meet Coach Judy
I’m Coach Judy, a midlife movement coach with 23 years of experience in health and fitness and a degree in Kinesiology and a Tedx soeaker.
I created Walk & Talk to give women a space to step away from everyday demands, move their bodies, connect with others, and create meaningful moments of reflection.
What started as a simple idea has grown into a community of people who continue to show up for themselves and one another.
My hope is that each walk reminds you that taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, it starts with showing up and taking a walk.
