Join us for a celebration of our many musical voices!
About this Event
Beautiful, historic Cavalry Episcopal Church serves as the setting for our musical experience.
Join Vox Veritatis for a celebration of the many musical voices that have shaped our shared cultural landscape—from the heartfelt simplicity of Shaker and Appalachian folk songs to the sophisticated harmonies of jazz, the magic of Golden Age Broadway, and the timeless melodies of American cinema.
Featuring a tribute to the incomparable Dolly Parton, a thought-provoking reimagining of "The Star-Spangled Banner" by Cincinnati composer Sam Terrebilini, an early music arrangement by Howard Helvey, and a premier of Anemone Space by composer-in-residence Wen Wen Van Der Wende, this program explores music as a living tradition: diverse, evolving, and enriched by every voice that joins the song.
Different traditions. Different stories. United in song.
