Volunteer Orientation

Ready to get involved at the Asheville Tool Library? Volunteer Orientation is your first step!

This ~90-minute session covers everything you need to know before joining a working group — our mission and culture, a behind-the-scenes tour, how to track hours, volunteer perks, and an overview of all the ways you can plug in.

Orientation is required before attending working group meetings.

We host 2–3 orientations a month on different days. If you have a scheduling conflict. Or jf attending a group session in person is a barrier for you, we're happy to offer a small group, fully masked orientation or an online one instead. Just email [email protected] to ask about options.
