MÍO
"Restless folk rock from and for a chaotic world, breaking all boundaries!"
The band MÍO have earned a reputation as one of the underground's most exceptional live experiences. With roots in Oslo’s punk and rock scene, the band has left a lasting impression across Norway, from Midgardsblot to the Telemark Festival, with their groundbreaking folk rock.
Their music draws rich inspiration from Norwegian rock, punk, and folk music - hard-hitting and dynamic, featuring hardanger fiddle and a vast arsenal of folk instruments from around the world. With a front vocalist delivering raw vocals power and an immense stage presence and expressive ability, supported by a tight, playful, and energetic band, the result is an unforgettable musical force.
The band’s debut album, "Ingen tid å miste" (No Time to Lose), was released in 2023 to critical acclaim, home and abroad - earning the top spot on The Nordic Sound as “Best Nordic Release.”
Their long-awaited sophomore album "Hva nå?" was released this spring 2025 on By Norse Music and has already received widespread acclaim, being described as “melodically sharp, dynamic, well-constructed, raw, and quite exceptional in its Norwegian contemporary scene” (Geir Larzen, Norway Rock Magazine) and “Adventurously serious” (Mode Steinkjer, Dagsavisen). On "Hva nå?", MÍO takes their music in a darker, gloomier, and harder direction than before—shaped by an uncertain, heavy, and challenging present, reflected in an album that vibrates with frustration, anger, and apathy, all wrapped in a modern folk-rock expression.
MÍO’s musical universe and live performances has been described to be a phenomenon that must be experienced in person—come and be a part of the fairytale!
MÍO is Dionisia Fjelldalen (vocals), Maja Hveding Styffe (fiddle and Hardanger fiddle), Hennie Hagen Johnsen (accordion, key harp, flute, keys, and more), Jakob Nome (guitar), Marianne Friisberg Larssen (bass) and Eilif Hallingstad Finnseth (drums and percussion)

+ Support: Stöj Snak
STÖJ SNAK is a ScreamerSongwriter quartet from Denmark playing a folky brand of troubadour-punk infused with plenty of raw energy and melodic catchiness.
Equal parts Dylan, Waits and Napalm Death boiled down to a folkpunk sauce delivered with heart and melodic surplus by the howling bard and his entourage of frantic street musicians - complete with acoustic guitar, washboard, double bass and stage diving.
The band has deep roots in the European underground and counts of members of MIGHTY MIDGETS, VÆGTLØS, COLUMBIAN NECKTIES, BATHOLIT among others and also help run the label 5FeetUnder Records. Musically Stöj Snak has been shaped by the alternative music scene and the creative attitude found within this community.
A molotov cocktail of indignation, potent washboard and a melodic tenderness fueled by rebellion and an idealistic faith in a better future.

+ Blood Girl
Blood Girl is a creature who sings folk-inspired tunes about sadness, existential boredom and the inherent tragicomedy of feeling like shit.
