About this Event
WHERE JAZZ MEETS THE RHYTHM OF THE CARIBBEAN
What happens when the soul and sophistication of live Jazz meet the unmistakable energy of Soca?
Welcome to VELVET NIGHTS: A Jazz & Soca Experience—an elevated celebration of music, culture, premium cuisine, cocktails, style and connection in the heart of Brooklyn.
On Sunday, November 8, 2026, The Picnic House at Prospect Park transforms into an intimate social experience where two distinct musical worlds come together.
Your afternoon begins with the smooth, soulful sounds of live Jazz.
Enjoy premium cocktails while a thoughtfully curated culinary experience unfolds around you—from passed hors d'oeuvres to passed main selections and desserts.
There are no buffet lines and no traditional sit-down dinner.
The experience comes to you.
Eat. Sip. Mingle. Connect. Enjoy the music.
Then, as the evening progresses, the atmosphere begins to change.
The tempo rises.
The energy shifts.
And Soca takes over.
Velvet Nights isn't simply dinner.
It isn't simply a concert.
And it isn't your typical party.
It's an experience.
Created for people who appreciate exceptional music, elevated food and cocktails, beautiful spaces, Caribbean culture, sophisticated energy and great company.
VIP packages also available.
EVENT ADMISSION IS SOLD SEPARATELY.
