Vancouver Winter Blues Fest is a brand new music festival, highlighting some great Canadian blues, funk, soul & roots talent. We're starting off with a 2 night blowout at the venerable Wise Hall, and plan to grow the festival in the coming years. We have big plans, and appreciate the support for live music in Vancouver!Night 1: Friday Dec 4th
* Secondhand Dreamcar (Edmonton, AB) – Juno nominated 9-piece soul and funk extravaganza
* Honeybear, the Band (Van BC) – Vintage inspired soul, blues & roots quartet, from down the street
* Sinéad X Sanders (Van BC) – Like a ghost from a simpler time, Sanders weaves together blues, R&B, country, jazz and punk
Night 2: Saturday Dec 5th
* The Harpoonist (Van Island, BC) – A harmonica virtuoso with a couple of decades in the blues-based rock and roll trenches
* Dawn Pemberton B3 Quartet (Van BC) – multiple Juno nominee whose voice moves effortlessly from gospel & soul to jazz & funk
* Marcus Trummer (Calgary, AB) – A young blood with an old soul, Marcus deftly combines blues, soul, R&B, and rock
