The central Seattle waterfront has layers of stories, many of them hidden from view like the beach that once welcomed Coast Salish canoes. Join HistoryLink historian Jennifer Ott as she tells the stories of piers and people, ships and railroads, and the ever-evolving landscapes.

This 90-minute walking tour starts at 80 S. Main St. and continues along the waterfront. The tour is planned to occur the fourth Thursday of each month, running July through October. Recommended age: 4 years and older.
Group size is limited per tour, register here to reserve free tickets. Tickets for each occurrence will be available 2 weeks beforehand. The entire session will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in. Tours will be held from 5:30p - 7:00p.
