The Washington Heart and Stroke Walk is back! Join the American Heart Association on Saturday, October 10 in Seattle at Seattle Center and take a step that could save a life. Nine out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside a hospital don’t survive, often because no one nearby knew CPR. But together, we can change that. Event day includes a pre-walk health and wellness festival including a Hands-Only CPR educational opportunity, a short stage program, special recognition of survivors of heart disease and stroke plus an untimed walk. Come hear cheers at the finish line, see smiles on the faces of walkers and have fun while getting your heart pumping.
