Set in 1995, in a dying town on route 66, Backcountry Crossing follows Bella, a student who has lost her way and doesn't know who she is anymore. After dropping out of college she moves back to her old hometown to find a sense of normalcy.When she arrives home she finds that the town she knew is changing, and that her friends are moving on with their lives. After hearing about a big town mystery, and as a last-ditch effort to hold onto her past, she ropes her friends into solving with her, for old time’s sake.
Backcounty Crossing, written and directed by Patrick McFerran, is coming to the Dolphin Threatre on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of October.
