This is a swim-your-own-swim event (you choose your own route, pace, distance). We get into the water together, and we each get out/leave whenever we want. (I exit the water at 6:45pm). Free street parking, bathrooms, and outdoor shower. BRING: light to put inside buoy for visibility
LOCATION: 2701 Alki Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116
MEET: On the side of the bathhouse that faces the water. There are benches to get ready and leave things (but there is no secure way to store valuables onshore unattended - I carry valuables with me in a drybag/buoy).

Please educate yourself on the risks of cold-water exposure, hypothermia, and after-drop before entering the water. I am not an expert but have found the below videos helpful.
