🎶🍁 True North: An Evening of Canadian Music & Community Connection - Friday October 23rd
Join us for a special evening of Canadian focused music, food, beverages, and community connection, to Double Your Impact in support of food security in our community.
True North 🍁is the theme for this year’s annual benefit concert and launch of Shelbourne Community Kitchen’s Donate & Double Your Impact matching campaign. Every dollar raised through the evening will be matched, doubling the impact of your support for The Kitchen’s many food security programs and services.
6:00pm - Mix & Mingle
Start the evening by connecting with friends, neighbours, volunteers and fellow Kitchen supporters.
Enjoy chef-made Canadian inspired appetizers and desserts, drinks, as well as featured cocktails/ mocktails, and Canadian-inspired fare as you mingle and settle in for the evening.
Your $75 ticket includes one beverage and one food item of your choice. Additional food and beverages will also be available for purchase, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
7:00pm -The Concert
The music takes centre stage at 7:00 p.m., featuring a fantastic lineup of local musicians!
Returning in 2026, is powerhouse vocalist, Edie DaPonte, who will be performing with an absolutely stellar band: Joey Smith on guitar, and Attila Fias on piano.

Take a break from the music and check out our silent auction, featuring a selection of wonderful items and experiences.
All Evening -Double Your Impact
True North 🍁is more than a night out, it’s also the launch of our annual Donate & Double Your Impact campaign.
All proceeds raised through the event will be matched, meaning your ticket, silent auction bid and any donation you make can have twice the impact.
100% of proceeds raised will support the Shelbourne Community Kitchen’s many food security programs and services, helping create opportunities with people experiencing food insecurity to cook, grow, share and connect.
