Join us for a special live episode of the Trillbilly Worker's Party at Institute 193. The December 4 Legal Committee will join us to discuss their new book Depose: Luigi Mangione, the Right to Health, and the Unfinished American Revolution. The December 4 Legal Committee created Luigi Mangione’s legal fund, which has raised over $1.5 million for his defense. It includes fifteen anonymous core members across six US regions: medical professionals, philosophers, historians, high school dropouts, an herbalist, a sign-spinner, and an HVAC technician. Depose is their first book.
Depose's cover image is taken from a painting by Lexington-based artist Dianna Settles, who will also join the show to discuss the painting, titled, There are always two worlds. How do you find the questions before there are consequences to not answering them?
Before the show, we'll screen filmmaker Stanya Kahn's newest short film, DENY, DEFEND, DEPOSE, made with tweets by the people in the wake of Brian Thompson's death.
Copies of the book as well as prints of the painting will be available for purchase, and signings are available.
