Is the Value-Added Producer Grant right for your business?
Join the Kentucky Center for Agriculture & Rural Development, USDA, and Kentucky Department of Agriculture on October 14 at 9:00 a.m. for a half-day workshop designed for agricultural producers interested in turning their products into new or expanded value-added opportunities.
Participants will learn about the Value-Added Producer Grant, including eligibility, Planning and Working Capital grants, what makes a strong project, and what information and materials are needed to prepare a strong application. The workshop will also cover how to develop a realistic project plan, prepare before entering the application portal, and determine next steps.
