About this Event
This event will kick off the introduction to and planning of the Tree Trail and Pollinator Pathways project - the two-year local nature project to create almost 8km of green corridors in the neighbourhood.
Interested in hearing about more nature friendly events happening nearby? Want to see more pollinator friendly plants in the streets and green spaces? You don't need to have any knowledge or experience in planting or nature, just an interest in making your neighbourhood better for everyone, insects included!
This meeting will be a introduction to the project, what we hope to achieve and where you come into it. This is a project with not for the community. We want to know where you want more green, which tree pits should be planted up, what sorts of trees you wanted planted and how we can help you do all this.
Once we've explained the project, we'll start planning what we'll be doing together, areas of interest and asking for your ideas, thoughts and enthusiasm.
This is the first in a series of planning meetings and we encourage anyone who ears pricked up when we said 'greening the area' to come along and find out more.
