our first (hope to be annual) toy drive to benefit Angel tree , secret Santa and forgotten angel's in guernsey county. we will have some eye candy for the kids and family to enjoy as they drop off items for donation. this won't be a huge parking lot even as the civic center is hosting parties for other people that day but we are using a small section of their parking lot where the car show was.
for anyone that donates something for the toy drive, your name will be entered in to win a $100 gift card for next level detail in byesville Ohio.
we're going to try and see if a few local businesses will help donate some small gift certificates for those that donate as well.
details will be added as we confirm them.
donations must be new in box undamaged. the salvation army has suggested to try and get some gift cards for the teenage range so they can pick out some of their own gifts. mainly for clothing and the like so they can get the right size/style they like.
just about anything could be donated and I'm sure we can change someone Christmas. new clothing, video games, books, gift cards, cash for the angel trees and forgotten trees, gift wrapping paper left over from last year, toys for all ages boys and girls, maybe some bicycles? etc etc.
we hope this is a success so we can go again next year.
