The Cambridge City Council meeting on September 28, 2026 was standing room only again. The crowd made it crystal clear: Cambridge opposes unvetted mass surveillance.Instead of acting on behalf of its 10,000+ constituents, City Council instead read a multi-page propaganda piece praising the cameras. When the Council President finally asked if any member wished to put forth a motion to take action, he was met with **total silence**. They are completely ignoring the wishes of the tax payers who elected them, and posturing in blind support of the administration.
We cannot let them sweep this under the rug.
Show Up: Let's pack the chambers again to prove we aren't going away.
Spread the Word: Please talk directly to your friends, family, and neighbors - especially those not on Facebook - and make sure they know a surveillance state is being forced onto our community.
