Genesis has notified these insurance companies that current contracts will end on the dates below, unless fair new agreements can be reached. The companies are:
* Aetna Medicare Advantage on Jan. 1, 2027
* Medical Mutual of Ohio Medicare Advantage on Jan. 1, 2027
* CareSource Medicare Advantage on Jan. 1, 2027
* CareSource Medicaid (managed care) plan on Jan. 1, 2027
* UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage on April 1, 2027
This does not affect commercial employer-sponsored insurance for working families. This also does not affect traditional Medicare Supplemental/Medigap plans.
If you have one of these plans, it is important to consider other options during open enrollment from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7.
