About this Event
The group represents a varied approach to art, and also a variety of ways that art has helped the individuals. From discovering mediums and techniques, to building confidence through creating in an atmosphere which is supportive and safe for creativity to be explored.
“My head is often too tangled and chaotic, being with the others makes possible what feels impossible in the jumble of life.
It gives me a break from reality.
My pictures often start with a doodle and then just let things happen. Often, it’s a magical world.
Creating pictures in the group allows me to breathe life into dreams. It expands my horizons, the impossible and possible collide. Words are not needed to express things. It helps to make sense of my confusing world.
These are just words, look at my pictures.”
We invite you to the show to explore the productions of a journey which represents what being together- and creating art -means to the group, and what it could potentially mean for you.
