Join us for a hands-on clay workshop led by professional artists. Sculpt your unique 'Landshape', as part of a collaborative installation.
About this Event

Our planet is made of strata of earth, layer upon layer, each carrying the marks and memories of living creatures and natural events. The landscape around us is in constant flux - a living, changing organism. Take inspiration from this and join the Clay in vivo artists in a workshop using clay to cut, carve, and form sections of different topographies and environments, historical or modern, that reflect our diversity and our unique relationship with the world around us.

Your clay ‘Landshapes’ will be the building blocks of an evolving communal installation that will transform the gallery space into an environment celebrating clay’s power to record time, express ourselves and connect.

You can document your work during making, as well as revisit to see the completed installation at the end of the exhibition (18-Oct) and follow us on @clay_in_vivo.

The workshop is open to all ages and no previous experience with clay is required. Any children must be accompanied by an adult, and no child can be left unattended. All materials are provided.

The workshop is open and free to all but if you have the means we would appreciate a voluntary donation to cover the material costs.

We look forward to seeing you there.
