About:
The Writer’s Room is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a special evening honoring the writers and voices that have carried through the room.
Founded by Chicago artist Cassius Tae, The Writer’s Room is a community-centered writing experience where poets, rappers, singers, and writers come together to write, share, and connect in an intimate, judgment-free environment.
For this special anniversary concert, five poets who have participated in The Writer’s Room throughout the past year will take the stage to share original pieces inspired by one special prompt. The evening will continue with a special guest artist, followed by a headlining live performance from Cassius Tae.
On November 19th, we’ll transform a large room into an intimate experience celebrating creativity, self-expression, and the stories that connect us.
Welcome to The Writer’s Room.
