About this Event
Join us for an exclusive screening of The United Irishmen and conversation with the director, Alan Gilsenan. This special evening brings together film, conversation, and community.
Theobald Wolfe Tone, Robert Emmet, William Drennan, Lord Edward Fitzgerald, Mary Ann McCracken and many others are names that echo down the years of Irish history. The United Irishmen and the rebellions of 1798 and 1803 were destined for failure, yet their legacy endures. Now, as we seek new ways to build a shared future across the island of Ireland, perhaps the story of the United Irishmen deserves retelling?
The United Irishmen is a Yellow Asylum Films production in association with X-Press Feeders.
