Where Stories Dance: A Journey Through Bharatanatyam

Discover how stories come alive through Bharatanatyam, one of India’s classical dance traditions.
In this engaging and interactive workshop, explore the language of rhythm, movement, hand gestures and facial expression. Meet playful Krishna, discover the tenderness of Yashoda, and experience the strength and energy of Shakti through the powerful Aigiri Nandini.
You’ll have the chance to try simple rhythms and gestures yourself, before reflecting on Deepavali — the festival of lights — and the universal stories of light, hope and renewal.
Come and discover a dance where stories don’t just get told — they dance.
