The Third Choice chronicles therapist-comedian Tahir “Tai” Chatur’s childhood journey adapting from Kenya to rural Canada. Tai combines his stand-up, psychology, and storytelling, walking us through blended cultures, faith, and our common search for a place to be ourselves.
Coming off an award-winning premiere at the FRIGID New York Fringe Festival, viral therapy-sketch storyteller Tahir “Tai” Chatur returns to the Gotham Storytelling Festival sharing his show as part of this year’s theme - Stranger in a Strange land.
Chatur is a comedian, actor, and Albertan psychologist. A previous NYC Moth Story Slam Champion, and currently stars as Jamal, on Netflix’s top 10 show, My Life With The Walter Boys. With over 265,000 followers across social media and the final dater of Canadian Reality Dating show, Farming For Love, Tahir “Tai” Chatur has been a refreshing friendly face to look out for.
