7:30 PM - late - Live klezmer music & dancing
Come early and enjoy dinner at the oldest Ethiopian restaurant in Minnesota! Tantshoyz is in the “party room” adjacent to the restaurant.
What to expect:
🎻 Live klezmer band featuring visiting artists Rebecca Mac & Dmitri Gaskin!
💃🏻 Dance leaders to show you the steps (no partner or experience needed)
🥗 Ethiopian food & drinks available all night from the restaurant
🪑 Places to sit and take part in vibrant Yiddish culture building even if dancing isn’t your thing
🫙 A tip jar to support Klezmer on Ice programming ($10-20 suggested, NOTAFLOF)
Village band members - bring your instruments and joins us for the final dance set of the evening. We’ll play some old favorites together!
