After more than a year of requests to bring The R&B Brunch to Modesto, we finally made it happen in October — and what a welcome you gave us.

More than 400 guests joined us for our Modesto debut, making it one of our biggest first-time events to date.

From the sing-alongs to the dancing, the energy throughout the afternoon was something special. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the city.

So, we're doing it again.

On Sunday, November 15th, DJ Heartbreak & Friends return to Sidelines Whiskey Jack's for another afternoon of R&B, great food, drinks, and community.

The R&B Brunch was created around the music that brings people together. From the records you grew up listening to, to the songs you still know every word to today, this is an opportunity to enjoy the soundtrack of your life alongside hundreds of people who love the music just as much as you do.

Whether you joined us for our first edition or you're experiencing The R&B Brunch for the first time, we can't wait to welcome you.

• First Seating: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Second Seating: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM

One thing we've learned from hosting The R&B Brunch throughout California is that no two seatings are ever quite the same.

While both feature the music, food, and atmosphere you've come to expect from us, each seating tends to develop its own personality.

A LITTLE MORE LAID-BACK.

If you're looking for a more relaxed Sunday brunch experience, we recommend booking our first seating.

Expect plenty of classic R&B, familiar favorites, sing-alongs, and an atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy your food, drinks, and conversations with friends.

The energy is still there, but the earlier seating generally moves at a more comfortable, laid-back pace.

Perfect for those who want to enjoy the music without necessarily feeling like they're at a day party.

A LITTLE MORE OF A PARTY.

For whatever reason, our second seating always seems to turn things up a notch!

The music gets a little louder, we mix in a little more hip-hop alongside the R&B, and there's usually a lot more dancing.

If you're coming with a group of friends, celebrating something special, or simply want to let loose on a Sunday afternoon, this might be the seating for you.

Think of it as brunch gradually turning into a daytime party.

IMPORTANT: These descriptions reflect the typical atmosphere of our events, not two completely different shows. Both seatings feature R&B music, great food, and the signature DJ Heartbreak experience. The energy ultimately depends on the crowd, and we encourage guests to choose the seating that best matches their preferences.

For our November edition, The R&B Brunch will take place indoors at Sidelines Whiskey Jack's.

We're excited to bring everyone together again for an afternoon of music, food, drinks, and community in the venue's indoor event space.

With two separate seatings, our team will be working closely with the venue to accommodate guests and provide an enjoyable experience throughout the day.

Please note that seating and table arrangements will be determined by the venue's indoor configuration and available capacity.

Brunch will be served buffet style to help accommodate the large number of guests attending throughout the day.

There is a mandatory $30 buffet purchase per guest, payable directly to the venue on the day of the event.

PLEASE NOTE: YOUR EVENTBRITE TICKET DOES NOT INCLUDE THE $30 BUFFET.

Your Eventbrite ticket provides admission to The R&B Brunch experience. The buffet is a separate, required purchase collected by the venue.

All guests attending should plan for this additional expense before purchasing their tickets.

Additional beverages and any items not included in the buffet will be available for purchase at the venue, subject to availability and venue pricing.

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, catching up with friends, enjoying a date, or simply getting out of the house for a Sunday afternoon, there's a place for you at The R&B Brunch.

This event features two completely separate seatings, and guests must attend the seating associated with their purchased ticket.

FIRST SEATING: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM

First-seating guests must conclude their experience and exit the designated event area by 1:30 PM.

Our team will then reset and prepare the space for the second seating.

SECOND SEATING: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Second-seating guests will not be admitted into the designated brunch seating area before 2:30 PM.

Guests who arrive early may visit the venue's bar, subject to availability and venue policies, but early arrival does not provide early access to event seating.

Please plan your arrival around your designated seating time.

Additional seating policies:

• Guests may not remain in the designated event area between seatings.
• Purchasing a ticket for one seating does not provide admission to the other.
• Seating may be communal depending on party size and venue configuration.
• Purchasing multiple tickets does not automatically guarantee a private table or exclusive seating area.
• Guests wishing to sit together are encouraged to purchase tickets under the same reservation and arrive together. Seating together remains subject to venue arrangements and availability.
• Late arrival may result in reduced event time and does not extend your designated seating period.
• All guests must follow staff instructions during seating transitions.

AGE & IDENTIFICATION

• This event is strictly 21+.
• A valid, physical, government-issued photo ID is required for entry.
• Guests unable to provide acceptable identification may be denied entry without refund.

TICKETS & ADMISSION

• Your Eventbrite ticket provides admission only and does not include the mandatory $30 buffet purchase.
• Tickets are valid only for the date and seating selected at checkout.
• Tickets do not guarantee admission to a different seating.
• All ticket sales are final unless the event is canceled or postponed.
• No refunds will be issued for late arrival, missed seating times, failure to attend, or failure to meet entry requirements, except where required by applicable law.
• Tickets are subject to venue capacity and applicable admission procedures.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

• The $30 buffet purchase is mandatory for each guest and is payable separately at the venue.
• Additional food and beverages are subject to venue pricing and availability.
• Guests must comply with all venue food, beverage, and alcohol service policies.
• Alcohol service is subject to applicable laws and responsible-service requirements.

VENUE & OPERATIONS

• The event takes place indoors at Sidelines Whiskey Jack's.
• Seating arrangements are subject to the venue's indoor layout and capacity.
• Event operations may be adjusted due to safety, venue requirements, or other circumstances reasonably outside the organizer's control.
• Any material event changes will be communicated through available ticket-holder contact channels when reasonably possible.

SAFETY & CONDUCT

• Entry and continued attendance are subject to venue rules, security procedures, and capacity limitations.
• All guests are expected to treat venue staff, event personnel, and fellow attendees respectfully.
• Disruptive, threatening, or unsafe behavior may result in removal without refund, subject to applicable law.
• Management reserves the right to refuse admission or remove guests when permitted by applicable law and necessary for safety or compliance.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO

• Photography and video recording may take place throughout the event.
• By attending, guests acknowledge that they may appear in event photography or recordings used for promotional, social media, and marketing purposes, subject to applicable law.

EVENT PROGRAMMING

• DJ lineups, music programming, event layout, and operational details are subject to reasonable adjustments.
• The atmosphere of each seating may vary based on crowd participation and other event conditions.
• Specific songs, genres, or levels of audience participation are not guaranteed.

The R&B Brunch is a signature event experience created by DJ Heartbreak and produced by Heartbroken Entertainment Group.

What began in the Bay Area has grown into a series of experiences bringing together R&B lovers across California.

From intimate gatherings to sold-out venues and rooftops, the mission has remained the same:

Creating a space where people can come together around the soundtrack of their lives.

We believe music has a special way of connecting people. A song can take you back to a particular summer, remind you of someone you love, or bring back memories you haven't thought about in years.

Those are the moments we aim to create.

The R&B Brunch is more than a place to eat and listen to music. It's an opportunity to make new memories while celebrating the ones that brought us here.

And after the incredible welcome Modesto gave us in October, we're excited to continue building something special in this community.
