Your friends at CalPride Stanislaus are starting something new this September, and everyone 18+ is invited to join us!Introducing Special Interest Skill Share, a monthly get-together where community members can share the things they know, love, and enjoy with each other.
Do you have a special interest you could talk about for hours? A hobby, craft, skill, or topic you’d love to introduce to others? Even better—can you teach someone else how to do it, too?
Think of Special Interest Skill Share as a little bit of show-and-tell, but with a twist: show and teach. Each month, a community member will have the opportunity to share their special interest, teach us something new, and give everyone a chance to learn, try, create, or participate together.
Join us every third Monday of the month from 1:00–3:00 PM at CalPride Stanislaus, 111 Modesto Ave. in Modesto.
Whether you want to teach, learn, or simply spend a couple of hours connecting with community, there’s a place for you here.
