The Playhouse Project returns to Glossop this Halloween, Haunting The Old Town Hall with a funky spooktacular— marking nine years since our first series of events in the town. On 31st October we’re bringing the vibes with a high‑energy, family‑friendly dance party packed with Soulful House & Disco.
DJ Lil’ Fee, aka Fiona Daniel (The Whip, Flex), brings her signature rhythmic, groove‑driven DJ set. With an international career as drummer for dance‑rock outfit The Whip, Lil’ Fee’s sets are finely crafted and built for a proper family stomp.
Expect standout performances from Cequin Circus & dancefloor interaction. Plus Halloween‑themed arts workshops, free glowsticks, inflatables, foam & bubble machines, face painting, club lighting and immersive Halloween visuals.
Since launching in Glossop in 2016, The Playhouse Project has grown into one of the region’s leading family‑friendly rave concepts, attracting crowds of up to 1000. Highlights include ongoing collaborations with Factory International, regular events at The Refuge, Band on the Wall, Whitworth Art Gallery, City Co, Victoria Baths, Parentfolk, Hatch, BEYOND MCR, The Deaf Institute, Didsbury Arts Festival, The Vintage Festival and The Golden Lion, Todmorden. In 2021, 2023 & 2025 we delivered major family events for Manchester International Festival at Festival Square.
