About this Event
Every writer has something to say. Sometimes all a story needs is an audience.
Join us at the Walnut Street West Library for an afternoon celebrating creative writing, storytelling, and community!
The Stories We Tell is a creative writing open mic inviting writers and aspiring authors to share original written work in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Whether you're working on your first short story, developing a novel, experimenting with a new genre, or finally ready to share something you've been keeping to yourself, there's room for your voice here.
JUST WANT TO LISTEN?
Absolutely!
Reserve a free General Admission ticket and spend the afternoon discovering original writing from members of your community.
You don't have to be a writer, have something published, or participate in NaNoWriMo to attend. Come support local creatives and enjoy an afternoon of stories.
WANT TO TAKE THE MIC?
Reserve a free Storyteller ticket to share one original piece of writing.
PERFORMER GUIDELINES
- One piece per performer.
- 5-minute maximum reading time.
- Original written work only.
