The Negotiation Gap: Why Women Don't Ask for More
Each Year, Equal Pay Day marks the approximately 50 additional days from the end of the previous financial year that women must work to earn the same pay as men.
This talk will explore the range of social and economic factors that combine to reduce women's earning capacity over their lifetime, across every sector and every age group.
Despite women now holding the title for Australia's most educated gender, the gap of representation in traditionally high earning fields and in senior leadership roles remains.
So is negotiation the answer?

Emma Hale
National Facilitator and Careers Educator with a background in psychology, community development and post graduate qualifications in public communications, Emma is a tertiary educator in careers curriculum and career development facilitator, with national expertise in supporting professionals to executives in securing promotions and better pay.
