The Museum is coming to Hellifield!Join us at Hellifield Institute for a FREE afternoon of real museum objects, local history, memories and activities for all ages.
While the Museum of North Craven Life at The Folly is closed for restoration, we’re bringing some of the Museum out into communities across North Craven.
There’ll be lots to explore:
🏺 Get hands-on with real museum objects
📷 Bring an old photograph, postcard or object and add your memories to our People’s Collection
🎨 Make badges and decorate a fabric square for our community textile
🔎 Have a go at children’s activities and puzzles
📚 Discover our children’s story area
💬 Meet the Museum team and tell us what you’d like to see from the Museum in the future
And if you have something connected with Hellifield or North Craven tucked away at home, bring it along. It might be a photograph, postcard, small object or simply a memory you’d like to share.
You don’t have to spend the whole afternoon with us.
Come for five minutes, stay for an hour, or spend as long as you like exploring.
