The Moustache Masquerade is a comedy night fundraiser, presented by Youlogy Board Games, which is seizing the power of the moustache. Our goal is raise as much money as we can ($10k) for the St. Paul's Hospital Foundation's Prostate Pathway and Prostate Cancer Symposium.
Come enjoy an evening of appetizers, drinks, live auctions, 50/50s, and a hilarious line-up of comics who happen to be health care professionals by day! There will also be a face-painter at the door, so if you are unable to grow a moustache you can for the night. All are welcome and encouraged to attend and $50 from every ticket is issued as a taxable receipt.
Headlining comic: Mitch Doran lives in Saskatoon with his wife and three children. He balances comedy and a career as a Registered Nurse in the neonatal unit of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital. Mitch’s comedy videos have been viewed millions of times online, and he was the winner of the Bridge City Comedy Competition 2025, and the runner up in the 25th Annual FunnyFest Competition in Calgary, Alberta. He was also selected as one of the "New Faces of Comedy" presented by Just for Laughs.
Featured comedian: Dr. Kishore Visvanathan draws his comedy from 34 years as a practicing urologist, 40 years of married life, and 65 years of … life. His performances dig out the funny bits from life’s awkward moments. Count on a clean, sharp set. Raised in Saskatchewan, Kishore is a regular on Saskatoon’s comedy stages.
Special guest: Lachlan McWilliams is also a regular in the Saskatoon comedy scene, frequently performing at Yuk Yuk's clubs across Canada.
The evening will be hosted by Shawn Bourassa. Shawn is a full-time Registered Nurse, a father of twin boys, and a husband. The Moustache Masquerade is Shawn's vision to use humour to raise money for men’s health and is proud to partner with the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation and the Prostate Pathway because of the dramatic impact they make to improve the health of men and families across Saskatchewan.
The Prostate Pathway helps men from all over Saskatchewan and their families as they navigate life with prostate cancer.
The Prostate Symposium is a free event held to raise awareness about prostate cancer, build community and support for those diagnosed with prostate cancer, and educate people along the way.
Thanks for your support!
