About this Event
The Man Behind the Moustache: Creative Writing for Good HealthWho is it for?
This workshop is open to men who would like to explore what health and wellbeing mean to them in a relaxed, supportive, and creative environment. No previous writing experience is needed.
What will happen?
Using a series of guided creative writing exercises, participants will reflect on themes such as physical health, mental wellbeing, identity, relationships, resilience, and self-care. The session focuses on personal reflection and storytelling rather than writing ability, with no pressure to share work unless participants choose to.
Why attend?
Movember is a time to start conversations about men's health. This workshop offers a different way to do that, using creativity and writing to explore personal experiences, strengths, challenges, and hopes for the future. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with others, reflect on their wellbeing, and leave with practical ideas for supporting their own health. The workshop will run for approximately two hours and will include light discussion, individual writing activities, and opportunities for reflection.
*his workshop is open to men only.
