The Magic SquareIn this workshop, we'll be taking a fresh look at the sonnet. Far from a stuffy old Shakespearean device, sonnets have enjoyed a great revival in recent years, with new anthologies and new innovations in the form. We'll look at some examples from contemporary poets, talk about what makes those poems tick, and hopefully do a bit of drafting for anyone who wants to try their hand at the wheel.
