What happens when you take a true story, hand it to a comedian, and let an artist turn it into something you can see?You get Truth in Comedy — a night where humanity is the muse.
This one-of-a-kind evening brings together storytelling, stand-up comedy, live art and community giving for a night that might make you laugh, make you feel something, and maybe even remind you that we're all a little more alike than we think.
🎤 HOW TRUTH IN COMEDY WORKS
Three storytellers take the stage to share something real — a personal story told with honesty, vulnerability and absolutely no hiding behind the highlight reel.
After each story, a comedian performs a stand-up set inspired by what you just heard.
A visual artist also creates original pieces inspired by the stories, culminating in a triptych revealed at the end of the evening.
It's raw. It's funny. It's human. And there really isn't anything else quite like it.
❤️ LAUGHTER FOR A CAUSE
The holiday season is often called the most wonderful time of the year, but for many families, it can also be one of the hardest.
That's part of the reason Fleur de Laughs was created: to use comedy, creativity and connection to do some good right here at home.
A portion of proceeds from this event will benefit TCU Food Bank, helping provide meals to local families during the holiday season. Just $10 can provide 40 meals, meaning a night out laughing can also help fill lunchboxes, dinner tables and pantries in our community.
