About this Event
On Oct. 27, our Director’s Office will host “A New Era for Humanitarian Aid: The IRC’s Vision for What Comes Next.” Ciarán Donnelly, senior vice president for Crisis Response, Recovery & Development at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), will discuss how humanitarian aid is entering a period of profound change as global crises grow, funding shrinks and the international system faces increasing pressure.
Drawing on the IRC’s experience on the ground and its policy leadership, Donnelly will explore the reforms needed to make humanitarian aid response more effective, accountable and impactful — how governments, institutions, and global partners can help shape what comes next.
