About The Speaker:
Bhavay Tyagi is a theoretical physicist from India, currently based in Houston, whose research focuses on quantum many body systems and quantum chaos. He has contributed to research at Los Alamos National Laboratory and continues to explore some of the most complex and fundamental questions in physics. Beyond his research, Bhavay is deeply interested in the philosophy of physics and the role of creativity in scientific progress, especially in an era shaped by artificial intelligence. He is actively engaged in the physics community through journal clubs, science policy, and public engagement, and he creates content aimed at making deep scientific ideas more accessible and thought provoking. His perspective emphasizes that progress in physics is not just about technical skill, but about originality, curiosity, and the willingness to challenge boundaries.
