Bienvenido to the Spanish Wine Series!
In continuation of exploring a different wine-producing country every year, Cheers & Queers - Houston offers a special, four-part experience as we delve into the vibrant world of Spanish wines. For the Spanish Wine Series, we will explore a different style of Spanish wine each month. Also, in addition to the wine tasting, the Spanish Wine Series will feature full dinner-pairing experiences!

For this experience, we will learn about and taste the bold and prestigious red wines of Spain, paired with meat and vegetarian paellas.
We will taste six wines total, featuring not only the well-known Tempranillo and red blends of Rioja, but also Garnacha, CThe dinner pairing will include family-style seafood paella prepared by Alejandro and his team!
The cost will be $50 per person, before taxes and fees, for the entire wine & food pairing experience. This will be an educational tasting as well as a full dinner for each guest, so come hungry! Please indicate when buying your ticket if you have any food allergies or restrictions.
HALLOWEEN ALERT - Since this event will be on the week of Halloween, you are welcome to wear your costume!

Free parking is available at the venue, yet very limited; therefore, rideshare is highly recommended.
Cheers & Queers tastings are organized and led by aspiring wine educator, Alejandro Weitzman, who is also the son of the SERCA Wines family. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to him!

Info: Doors open at 6:30 pm. We will receive guests with the first wine of the night, and then be seated promptly at 7:00 pm to begin the tasting.
