Welcome to Culture & Cocktails, the first community gathering hosted by Garifuna Immersions Co.
Garifuna Immersions Co. was created to bring people closer to Garifuna culture through meaningful travel experiences and community gatherings that celebrate our people, history, and traditions.
For our first gathering, we’re bringing that spirit of connection to Boston.
Join us for an afternoon of live Garifuna drumming, music, dancing, cocktails inspired by Garifuna communities, and good company. Whether you grew up surrounded by Garifuna culture, are reconnecting with your roots, or simply want to experience something new, there’s a place for you here.
No long presentations. No pressure to know anything before you arrive. Just come as you are, grab a drink, catch a rhythm, meet somebody new, and enjoy the culture.
