The Front Porch Lounge is a one-day, high-impact retreat designed to help women embrace their voice, sharpen their strategy, and step boldly into their glow-up. Hosted by Shanita Baraka Akintonde, the event is a signature fusion of personal storytelling, professional development, and cultural empowerment.
Held at The Metropolitan on the 67th floor of Willis Tower, the experience begins with a warm and stylish welcome. From 9:00 to 9:45 AM, attendees arrive to light breakfast, skyline views, soft jazz, and custom swag bags. A surprise greeter offers a Front Porch Moment to kick off the day with heart and intention. Participants will leave the event at 5:00 p.m. with tools, tribe, and transformation to carry your glow-up into every room you enter!
