Who's ready for a day of creating and hanging out in Chicago's famous and wonderful Chinatown? I AM. This should be a wonderful day of creating Art alongside friends, new and old. A day of FREE sketchwalks led by me and other great members of our chapter. Here are the details for our Sketchwalk 2025. Saturday, Sept 20th, 2025
9:00am Gather at Chinatown Pagoda/Nine Dragon Wall (158 W. Cermak.)
9-11:30am Morning Session: Sketch south and then back north along Wentworth Ave. Locations of your choosing
11:30am Group throwdown and photo at "You are Beautiful Plaza, (23rd St./Wentworth)
11:30-1pm Lunch on your own in the area. Then, head north along Wentworth towards Ping Tom Park.
1-4pm Afternoon Session: Work your way to Ping Tom Park.
4pm Throwdown and Group Photo at Ping Tom Park Pagoda (1700 S. Wentworth)
4:30pm Drink and Draw at Imperial Restaurant (2100 S. Archer Ave.) Bring cash for easier check process.
I will be adding some images to further help with the day's activities. I hope to see many of you and looking forward to meeting all newcomers.
