About this Event
The Fresh Challenge of Romans
What is it about Paul's Letter to the Romans that keeps people coming back to it time and time again? Perhaps it is the profound combination of gospel affirmation and ecumenical calling that the apostle lays out. This has certainly been true for N.T. Wright, one of this generation's most respected interpreters of the New Testament.
Over decades of study, N.T. Wright's love and enthusiasm for this foundational Christian text has only grown. Though too often read as if it were answering questions from over a thousand years after its writing, Prof. Wright encourages us to approach Romans with a sharpened mindset. When we investigate the original intent of the letter, we lose none of its striking gospel affirmations, but we gain a fresh glimpse of the church’s vocation.
Come renew your appreciation for this letter—as urgently relevant today as when Paul wrote it—and discover new avenues for its application, all while Prof. Wright shares the powerful insights he has personally experienced within its familiar wisdom.
We invite you to join us in Dallas, Texas, November 1-4, 2026, to explore this letter with Prof. Wright as we consider the fresh challenge of Romans for today.
