About this Event

In this work in progress seminar, the speakers investigate four past and present examples where legal ideas and institutions have moved from their jurisdiction of origin into a new jurisdictional home. The speakers consider the reasons that influenced the process of circulation; why some jurisdictions were especially receptive to outside influence; and how those ideas and institutions were adapted by the process of circulation.
