About this Event
THE CALL – Actor’s Reaction Night – Berlin
Every film has a moment the character doesn’t see coming. This is that moment, live, in a room in Berlin.
The performance
A phone rings. An actor picks up. They don’t know what they are about to hear. Only then, on the line, do they learn the news: bad news, good news, or something terrifying. They react in real time. No script, no preparation, nothing to memorise.
The conversation
After each call, the room talks about what it saw: what was believable, what surprised us, what a face can do without words. It is part acting study, part game, part audience experiment.
The networking
After the performances we stay, have a drink and meet. The evening is for actors, directors, casting directors, producers and filmmakers in Berlin. You can take a call or simply watch. Spots to play are limited and given first-come, first-served on the night.

THE CALL – Actor’s Reaction Night – Berlin
