The Blue Cat Orchestra is fast becoming one of Glasgow’s most stylish nights out. This seven-piece band brings the joy, decadence and high-energy sound of the 1930s dance bands back to life. Led by trumpeter Mick Cooke (ex-Belle & Sebastian), with the charismatic vocals of Anthony Bowers and some of Scotland's finest jazz musicians, this is music made for celebration and revelry.
Expect classics and hidden gems from legendary bandleaders including Ambrose, Billy Cotton, Jack Hylton and Roy Fox. There will also be familiar swing numbers from the likes of Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman.
The band's debut performance sold out in just 24 hours. Now they're back for a second night in an intimate cabaret setting. Dress up in your best vintage glam or come as you are. Great company, conversation and carousing… an evening with The Blue Cat Orchestra awaits you!
Running order
Doors open at 7:30pm. The band will play two sets between 8pm and 10pm. The bar will stay open until 11pm.
