The Mayfield Sessions is an intimate and immersive recital series in which each performance centers on a unique theme. This program, titled Indulgence, explores the pleasures and consequences of giving in to desire. Kate is joined by pianist and composer Christian Douglas, and their program features surprises, duets, and irresistible energy that leaves audiences wanting more."Here’s what to expect at a Session:
- About an hour of live music, primarily featuring violin and piano.
- Guest artists performing on a range of instruments.
- At least one song sung by Kate.
- A title that acts as a central theme tying all the pieces and songs together.
- Moments of audience participation.
- Food and drinks.
- Time to socialize with the artists and fellow attendees before and after the music.
